The New England Patriots are having some fun with Bill Belichick’s Week 4 post-game presser, turning his slogan into a motivational banner on their website

When the New England Patriots lost 41-14 to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4, Bill Belichick answered almost every question after the game with “We’re on to Cincinnati”. Ben Volin, a Patriots writer at the Boston Globe, humored fans that night with the transcript.

Frank Caliendo, long known for his spot-on celebrity impressions, filmed a hilarious take on the Belichick presser for ESPN shortly after:

But, the Patriots aren’t joking around this time of year — well, kind of. Their website features a clever play on the “We’re on to Cincinnati” line, with a banner that reads “We’re on to Baltimore”. After losing that game in Week 4, the Patriots went 10-2 to finish the season, clinching the AFC East and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

This Saturday, the Patriots will host the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC’s first Divisional Round game of the weekend. In their last three playoff meetings with the Ravens, the Patriots have gone 2-1, losing a heartbreaker in the 2012 AFC Championship Game, 28-13.

Things may be different this year, though — the Patriots enter the game with a revamped secondary and the league’s best tight end, Rob Gronkowski. A healthy Gronkowski changes everything for the Patriots, who were missing the young star in their last two playoff runs. He hauled in 12 touchdowns during the regular season and is a key matchup in the red zone.

On defense, the Patriots acquired Darrelle Revis in the offseason, long regarded as the NFL’s premier shutdown corner. His addition has worked wonder’s for Belichick’s defense, which has become a nasty, physical group reminiscent of the ones he took to Super Bowls in 2001, 2003, and 2004. Linebackers Jamie Collins and Dont’a Hightower have developed into playmakers, solidifying the middle of a defense that has struggled in recent years.

But, the one person in the organization not named Tom Brady who gives this team the best shot to win is Bill Belichick. His changing game plans on a week-to-week basis keep defenses on their toes, and he’s made the most out of certain players on the defensive side of the ball.

Against the Colts this season, the Patriots went to a run-heavy, six-lineman attack that helped Jonas Gray rush for 201 yards on a whopping 38 carries. Earlier in the year, Brady threw for 333 yards and 4 touchdowns against the Denver Broncos, a sign of Belichick’s adaptability.

The Ravens need to prepare, because Bill Belichick is ready to go and “On to Baltimore”.
