Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker hit the shot of the year in the NBA already with a volleyball move.
The Utah Jazz were taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night when a bit of magic happened. There was roughly a minute left in the second quarter when the Jazz had to in-bounds the ball.

A routine play, except for the fact that the Jazz had 0.2 left on the shot clock and would almost surely be called for a shot clock violation if anyone caught the ball off the in-bounds pass.
So what do you do? Channel those volleyball skills you honed during your time in college when sand volleyball seems to dominate days with good whether.
That’s exactly what Trevor Booker of the Jazz did. The ball bounced in his direction and he just bumped it up over his head and some how the shot went in.
It is a pretty impressive and incredible shot and surely luck played a big role in it. If Booker tried that shot again he might not even come close.
Remember when Derek Fisher hit that shot with 0.4 seconds left, this makes that shot look like a piece of cake.
