Packers-Cowboys brawl after T.J. Lang cheap shot (Video)

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys do not like each other, and those emotions boiled over in a second half brawl.

A lot of things happened in the NFC Divisional Round this weekend and one of the most interesting games came on Sunday between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys. Not only was it a tight game the whole way through, the emotions of the game were felt on every play with said emotions, at times, bubbling over.

One of those moments came in the third quarter of the game, when Packers offensive lineman T.J. Lang got a little pushy and ended up inciting a brawl.

A personal foul was called on T. J. Lang and only T.J. Lang for causing the brawl that happened. In the eyes of the officials, nothing happened after Lang started the brawl as the only thing that mattered was the shove that started everything.

It was looking like the penalties could offset, but instead it was Lang who was fingered for the offense and the Packers took a huge step back on a drive that was starting to groove. Had the penalty offset, there’s no saying the same result of the drive would have not occurred — which was a Mason Crosby field goal.

The question here is was Lang the only person responsible for the brawl, or was he part of a bigger problem that needed a singular scapegoat. It’s questionable as to whether the stuff that happened after his shove was worse than the shove itself, but that’s irrelevant now.

But because of the penalty, we will never know and it gives Packers fans a reason to troll the Cowboys over getting another call go their way from the officials.
