The Cleveland Cavaliers are beginning to openly ignore and show their dislike for head coach David Blatt.

LeBron James chose to return home to the Cleveland Cavaliers this past offseason, and they acquired Kevin Love to join him and Kyrie Irving. That “Big Three” was expected to be a legitimate championship contender, but they are 19-20 this season and are spiraling downwards quickly.

It has been a nightmare season so far for Cleveland, with the roster not fitting together well at all. They acquired both J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the New York Knicks, and also traded for Tomofey Mozgov from the Denver Nuggets.

Cleveland is trying to save their season and get back into contention in the Eastern Conference, but there appear to be other issues than just the roster.

There have been rumblings all season long that the Cavaliers did not like head coach David Blatt, and those rumblings are becoming an ugly reality. According to a report from Deadspin.com, the Cavaliers’ players have begun openly ignoring and showing their dislike for Blatt. This is a major concern, and the report talks about some proof of the statement.

"It isn’t just the casinos that are agape at how this is playing out — the Cavs were 4-15 in their past 19 games against the spread coming in to Tuesday — so are league scouts, executives and rival players. They see players appearing to run different plays than the bench calls, see assistant coach Tyronne Lue calling timeouts literally behind Blatt’s back during games, and hear Cavs players openly talking about coaching issues with opposing players and personnel. Not once, not twice, but frequently over the past several months."

It is going to be very interesting to see how much longer the Cavaliers stick with Blatt as their head coach. He hasn’t done a good job on the sidelines even at the beginning of the year when the team was still behind him.

James actually shoved Blatt out of the way while they were both arguing a foul call on Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns, which further showed the lack of respect that the Cavaliers have for their coach.

Obviously Blatt is coaching for his job from this point forward, and he may not be around very much longer in Cleveland. There are many concerns surrounding the Cavaliers, and this type of report makes things even more troubling.
