P.J. Hairston commits worst flop ever vs Spurs (Video)
By Jack Crosby
P.J. Hairston acted like someone hit him with a grenade Wednesday night.
The Charlotte Hornets are taking on the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday night, and just like any team that plays the defending champs, you wanna try to pull out all the stops to get the win. However, rookie P.J. Hairston took things just a little bit too far.
Yes, pulling out all the stops does include drawing some fouls, even if that includes flopping. But as we have said time and time again, if you’re going to flop, you have to make it look believable.
On Wednesday night while he was guarding Tony Parker, Hairston had a chance to pull this off, and well, he failed miserably.
Not only did that not look remotely believable, but Hairston made it look like someone shot him with an uzi. Tony Parker has some strength, but come on, not that much.
But hey, it’s better to call out P.J. Hairston for a ridiculous flop on the court than it was for his transgressions in college, so that’s a plus.
