As the Rockets are easily handling the Thunder on Thursday night early on, Kevin Durant just can’t seem to hold on to the ball.

For the most part in the first half of the Western Conference showdown Thursday night between the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder, the Rockets are cruising. Now, yes, part of this is the superior overall play of Houston, but some of it has to do with Kevin Durant not being able to keep the ball in his possession.

Yes, Durant is struggling with ball handling in the first half.

First, there was this play where Trevor Ariza took it from him and finished things off at the other end…

Then, there was this, which led to a beautiful transition from the Rockets…

This…this could be a problem if Durant doesn’t get it together. One team you do not want to just hand the ball to is the Rockets.
