Only six-months after suffering one of the worst leg injuries you’ll ever see, Paul George is already back dunking in practice.

This past summer while playing for Team USA in a showcase for the World Championships, Indiana Pacers star forward Paul George suffered one of the most gruesome leg injuries anybody could ever witness.

It was shades of Kevin Ware for Louisville in the NCAA Tournament and a heavy reminder of how fragile the human body can be on occasion.

Only six-months later for George and he’s dunking a basketball at practice.

That is simply remarkable.

I immediately need to take some of whatever Paul George is currently consuming. Fruits, vegetables, spinach…what is he taking?

While the modern state of medicine and athletics is amazing, the fact that his leg was literally snapped in half just a half-year ago makes us all need to re-evaluate a few things.

It is a testament to the Pacers medical staff and George himself. The incredible amount of work that goes into getting fully back to playing has to be tiresome.

George is not expected to make a return this season, and nor should he even think about it. The fact that he’s even running around right now is a truly amazing feat in itself.
