Memphis Grizzlies forward Jeff Green had a thunderous dunk on Victor Oladipo

The acquisition of Jeff Green by the Memphis Grizzlies from the Boston Celtics is being hailed as one of the best trades this year. Green brings a much-needed presence to a team looking to finally take that final step and become NBA champions.

In Friday night’s game against the Orlando Magic, Green had a monstrous dunk and soaked it in after the play. Green would take flight and slam it home over emerging Magic guard Victor Oladipo.

After the big-time dunk, Green would stand over Oladipo and mark his prey.

Give the young Oladipo credit for not backing down, but in the end, his efforts were nothing but futile and he will now be forever ingrained in the NBA trend that is being put on a poster.

Green, on the other hand, resembled the spirit of a Grizzly, ferociously taking down his prey without remorse and claiming him after. It appears he is fitting in with his new team quite well to say the least.

With the addition of Green, the physically-minded Grizzlies have to be one of the favorites come playoff time for the way they play, and when the playoffs arrive, the game slows down and that’s where a team like Memphis excels the most.
