It is time for Deflate-Gate! According to reports, the NFL is reportedly investigating the New England Patriots for intentionally deflating footballs.
They did what? According to Bob Kravitz of WTHR.com, the NFL is looking into whether the New England Patriots intentionally deflated footballs during Sunday night’s AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Breaking: A league source tells me the NFL is investigating the possibility the Patriots deflated footballs Sunday night. More to come.

I'm told at one point the officials took a ball out of play and weighed it. Should hear more tomorrow on this subject.

Why would that matter? Well, with the poor weather and heavy rain, the deflated balls would have been much easier for the Patriots to grip than the balls that were inflated to their required weight.
If the league discovers the balls were intentionally being deflated, then we could see the New England Patriots stripped of some draft picks.
Told if a league investigation confirms deflated footballs it will result in lost draft picks. Stay tuned.

Nobody is suggesting this is why the colts lost obviously. They were manhandled.

This wouldn’t be the first time the Patriots find themselves in such a negative situation where their success is surrounded by controversy, but it would certainly not be the type of discussion or distraction the team would like to have as they prepare for their Super Bowl XLIX meeting with the Seattle Seahawks.
