CB Richard Sherman, Seattle

Sherman does not want to take a back seat to Revis, and he will most likely declare himself to be the best corner in the league during the hype of Super Bowl week.

Sherman (four interceptions, 12 passes defensed) can’t help himself when the microphones are on. He loves to talk, and his confidence is overflowing. He does not have the coverage techniques that Revis has in his arsenal, but he is tough, nasty and physical, and he also has excellent instincts that allow him to catch up if he is beaten on the initial move.

Sherman legitimately wants to be challenged, and he will try to get in Brady’s head as well as the Patriots receivers. If he is successful at winning this mental/psychological battle, that will go a long way in determining the outcome of this game.
