Nike has released their uniforms they designed for the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl.

With the Super Bowl participants now set with the New England Patriots going up against the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks, the Pro Bowl is fast approaching. The Pro Bowl will take place on January 25th in Glendale, Arizona and the University of Phoenix Stadium.

With the NFL Pro Bowl just a few days away, Nike has revealed the Elite 51 Pro Bowl uniforms they designed for the game.

You can see what the uniforms look like here.

This is the second Pro Bowl where they are getting rid of the NFC versus the AFC format and implementing a “fantasy football in real life” format. Each team will be coached by a Hall of Fame wide receiver. Team Irvin will be coached by Michael Irvin and Team Carter will be coached by Cris Carter. Irvin and Carter will draft their teams from the pool of selected Pro Bowl players, just like a fantasy football draft.

The uniforms Nike designed replicate the non-conference look that the Pro Bowl is going for now. One color scheme is a navy blue base with vibrant orange accents on the jersey, pants and socks, including accents on the name and number, as well as white pants. The other jersey’s color scheme is a more a grey base color on the jersey, with dark grey pants and volt green accents on the name, number, pants and socks.

It looks like Team Carter will wear the grey and volt green jerseys and Team Irvin will wear the navy and orange jerseys.

One really cool aspect they added to these jerseys is, just above the players nameplate, they will have small stars indicating how many Pro Bowls that player has gone to in his career.

The uniforms are made from a very lightweight and breathable fabric, designed to keep the player cool during the game. They also integrated some extra protection into the uniforms at the players’ crucial “hit zones.” They also integrated Flywire technology into the jerseys, which will reduce weight and give a more comfortable and secure fit over the players pads.

Each player will also be issued their own Nike Vapor Untouchable cleats, which are the same cleats issued to the teams in the Super Bowl. One cool fact about these cleats is that they are made from recycled plastic bottles. Each pair of Nike Vapor Untouchable cleats are made from an equivalent of five recycled plastic bottles.

Each player will also be issued their own pair of Nike Vapor Knit Gloves in either orange or volt green, depending on what team they represent. The gloves are made from one-piece knit construction for full freedom of motion and a Magnigrip surface on the palm for increased grip.

H/T to Nike for the information.
