Kyle Korver dunks for the first time in 2 years [video]

Atlanta Hawks F Kyle Korver is a killer from the outside, but on Wednesday he gave us a treat with one of his buckets. 

Kyle Korver is an assassin from the outside. He will let it rain from 3-point land all game long and drill that shot with the best of them. You don’t want to leave him out there by himself or he will destroy you.

When he gets in the paint, we don’t expect to see him do what he did on Wednesday night. You don’t expect him to get up and put it down. That is exactly what he did on Wednesday though.

The surprise from the announcers still cracks me up. It is almost as if they had seen something that they have never seen before.

Thanks to SB Nation and basketball-reference, we learned that Korver has not dunked since the 2012-2013 season and that dunk that is replaying over and over above was the 16th dunk of his career. 16 dunks during his 11 seasons in the league. We just saw a unicorn!
