4. LeBron James

26.0 PPG, 7.3 APG, 5.5 RPG, 25.3 PER

Was LeBron James joining Amar’e Stoudemire in those red wine baths while he was out injured for two weeks?

It appears so…

The Cavs are 4-1 since Bron-Bron has been back, and they actually look like a good basketball team.

The ball movement is better. The defensive intensity has picked up. And, most importantly, the Cavs look like they’re having fun playing together, kind of like the Miami Heat did during their two championship seasons.

In the five games since he returned, James is averaging 30.6 points, 6.0 assists, and 7.0 rebounds. He’s been a monster!

So, what is James doing differently now that he wasn’t doing before?

Not much, honestly. He’s playing the same style, but he’s been a touch more aggressive and is attacking the basket. Over the last five games, James is averaging 11.0 free throw attempts per game.

If he plays the rest of the season like this, does he have a shot at the MVP?

Yes,  he duh-oes!
