No. 20 Brent Jones, San Francisco 49ers

Another 49ers tight end on the list. Brent Jones was a key cog in the Bill Walsh offense that was so dominant in the 80s and 90s. Though he’s barely outside the top 20 in all time receiving yards among tight ends, he played an important role in the history of the position.

Jones was another guy who saved his best for the biggest games. In 20 career playoff games, he racked up  60 catches, 740 yards and five touchdowns. Not bad for a 5th round pick out of Santa Clara College. He won three Super Bowl rings with the 49ers and was selected to four Pro Bowls.
