New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis landed awkwardly and was forced to briefly leave the game.

New Orleans Pelicans fans were holding their breathe hoping their star Anthony Davis went down with what initially seemed like a serious injury. Davis landed off-balance and had to be helped off the floor.

Turns out Davis was just fine as he re-entered the game with eight minutes to go in the fourth.

Davis is the best young star in the game well on his way to a Hall of Fame career. According to Bill Simmons, Davis’s current PER would be the best of ALL-TIME.

Basically, the Pelicans can’t afford to lose him.

Good to see that Davis is just fine. The NBA would be way worse off without him. Only a minor scare for the Pelicans and Davis.
