Only the players who’ve shined brightest on the biggest stage will make the NFL‘s All-Time Super Bowl Team.

Here it is, it’s almost that time where players become legends and forever remembered, or broken and quickly forgotten.

The Super Bowl is almost here yet again.

This year will feature two champions: the nasty defensively identified Seattle Seahawks and the dominance that is Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. How much better can any matchup be?

We have champions at every position. Both head coaches are tested; both secondaries are flawless; both running games are powerful; and both quarterbacks have that “it” factor that trumps all qualities in this game.

Through 48 editions of the game we’ve seen so many clutch performances.

Brady is a prime example in recent memory. Not once, but twice he’s lead his team on a game-winning drive which resulted in two Adam Vinatieri championship winning field goals.

Not only have players enjoyed dominant Super Bowls in one individual game, but many have had success through multiple trips there. Some guys simply have ice water running through their veins. They don’t even know better and perform regardless of the city – they just know it’s the Super Bowl.

When deciding the NFL’s All-Time Super Bowl Team, I didn’t take any extra players on either side of the ball. I didn’t even follow the All-Pro format which takes an extra running-back and front-seven member. This list is simply 11 players on each side, looking to put the best team on the field.

Major snubs are listed as well so you can call me every name in the book for making the wrong decision.
