A Georgia Tech fan became the envy of many after sinking a half-court shot

Half-court shots by fans can sometimes give away various prizes, such as cash and vehicles. Many try and many fail, but one Georgia Tech student had the chance to become a campus legend. Caleb Epsy had a chance to sink a shot from half-court to win…free Domino’s pizza for a year.

The contest is as follows:

You can sink a layup for a free pizza, a free throw for three free pizzas, a three-pointer for ten pizzas, and the big one, a half-court shot for free pizza from Domino’s for an entire year.

Epsy appeared to have difficulties making his decision as the three-pointer, a much more easier shot, could net him ten pizzas. However, the disapproval from the crowd swayed Epsy to shoot the half-court shot and go all in on the chance to win pizza for an entire year.

He wasted no time putting the shot up either.

Epsy had the distance and the line and sunk the shot, then proceeded to run around the court celebrating as thousands of Georgia Tech fans raucously cheered on who will soon be their newest friend.

Epsy now gets to enjoy pizza for a year and an increased amount of friends who will surely want some free pizza of their own.
