Jeff Teague fakes out Portland Trailblazers (Video)
The Atlanta Hawks’ point guard faked the Portland Trailblazers defenders out
The Atlanta Hawks have won 18 games in a row and have taken the NBA by storm. Mike Budenholzer has done a tremendous job turning the franchise around, and the team is playing as one and are one of the favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. Led by Jeff Teague, Al Horford, Kyle Korver, and Paul Millsap, and a great supporting group of guys, Atlanta is deadly in all facets of the game. Friday night, point guard Jeff Teague, let the visiting Portland Trailblazers know just how dangerous they can be.

As the fourth quarter winded down and the Hawks held just a two point lead in a game where their 17-game winning streak was on the line, Teague came up with a huge play to extend the Hawks advantage over the Trailblazers.
Starting at the top of the key, Teague had Trailblazers’ forward Nic Batum draped all over him. Teague would drive with his left to the hoop as LaMarcus Aldridge came over to help Batum on defense. Teague would spin back as both Trailblazers’ defenders bit on the fake and Teague would easily put the ball in with his right.
Teague is growing into one of the better point guards in the NBA and the Hawks are growing into one of the better teams if not the best in the NBA. They are easily the best story of the league this year and fans in Atlanta have to be excited about the future of the franchise under Mike Budenholzer who is a longtime disciple of San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.
The Hawks have won 18 games in a row, easily a franchise best, and no stop appears in sight for the Southeast Division and Eastern Conference leaders. They have scoring, size, three-point shooting and defense. All are elements to winning an NBA title.
They also have a point guard who can play magic tricks on the court making defenders look the other way.
