One of Marshawn Lynch’s high school teammates tells a story of him tackling an opponent into the stands.

Marshawn Lynch is best none as the physical running back for the Seattle Seahawks, mowing down and running through defenders on patented “Beast Mode” runs at integral moments in games.

Lynch definitely looks like he belongs on a football field, but that didn’t stop him from playing other sports like basketball in high school. Former NBA player Leon Powe shared a story about Lynch on the basketball court that is odd, but sounds so much like exactly what you’d expect from Lynch.

“He told me anyone that fouled me, just let him know,” Powe told Basketball Insiders. “He’d go in and take care of it. That’s what he did.”

And that is exactly what happened when someone touched Powe.

“Marshawn came to me. He said, ‘I got you,’” said Powe. “The following play, the guy got a fast break. He jumped and Marshawn ran out of nowhere — he was fast as lightening, strong. He just, like, speared the guy, tackled him into the stands. He got a flagrant.

“I pulled Marshawn to the side and said, ‘You can’t do that. That’s illegal. You’ll get ejected and kicked out for that. I just wanted you to touch him up a little bit.’ He just laughed, ‘That’s what I do.’ That’s all that he said.”

There has to be video of this somewhere… and I personally can’t wait to see it surface because it sounds epic.
