The Seattle Seahawks fans are sky high for the Super Bowl

Super Bowl XLIX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona is a heavyweight showdown and one of the most anticipated Super Bowls of all time. Ticket prices are at a record high and the city of Phoenix is filled with fans of all NFL teams. However, the number of Seahawks fans in Phoenix appears to be greater than that of any other teams’ fans present and they are letting their voice be heard and now their flag is flying over the city.

With the Super Bowl Central taking place in downtown Phoenix, fans have filled the downtown square. Today a helicopter flew high above with a gigantic 12th Man flag attached.

The flag was so gigantic it looked like it could drape over many of the tall buildings in downtown Phoenix.

Give credit to the Seahawks fans as they have poured out in droves to support the defending champs as they look to win consecutive Super Bowls. Before they showed up in Phoenix, Seahawks fans had a big rally as their team bus headed to the airport to head to Phoenix.

The rally had thousands and it turned into a gigantic party as fans dressed up and got loud waving flags, towels and anything else they could to show their support while hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite players as they left.

Everything is a party in Seattle these days and the Seahawks fans have brought the party to the desert, where dreams of the Lombardi Trophy once again fill their head as they lay down to sleep this week.

If the turnout in Phoenix is any indication, the Seahawks will have a large number of fans at the University of Phoenix Stadium and per the norm they will be as loud as they can be to will their team on to victory. Should Seattle win the Super Bowl, the party will only grow larger and the celebrations will be bigger.

Next year’s Super Bowl in Santa Clara at the home of their rival, the San Francisco 49ers, will be the 50th Super Bowl in NFL history. The Seahawks have a chance to win the Super Bowl in the stadium of their division rival the Arizona Cardinals this year. If they do that, then they can turn their attention to claiming the stadium of San Francisco.

Fans of other NFC West teams groan, but for the Seahawks and their fans the celebration has just begun and with a win Sunday, the party will grow even larger.
