Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jermaine Kearse makes incredible catch

With Super Bowl XLIX coming to an end, time ticking away and Seattle losing by four points, Jermaine Kearse made what appeared to be an impossible catch. Everyone and their grandmother thought he had dropped the ball not once, but twice. On his third attempt, Kearse caught the ball thanks to unrivaled focus.

It turns out that the amazing skill and luck that it took to catch the ball was wasted, because of a terrible decision on the following play. The Seahawks would go on to throw an interception when they had a time out left and were only yards from the endzone. Even though the catch wouldn’t count for anything other than a fond memory, Twitter still erupted when it happened.

New England won the Super Bowl, 28-24.
