Pitch Perfect 2 Super Bowl spot is aca-awesome (Video)

The latest trailer for ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ is pitch perfect.
The newest trailer for the latest installment of Pitch Perfect premiered in between plays during the Super Bowl recently, and we could not be more aca-excited for the ongoing adventures of Anna Kendrick and her adorable smile.
Aside from a closer look at the new acapella competition, fans can also catch a glimpse of some of the songs we can expect to hear in the new movie.
The trailer starts out with the hilarious Reba Wilson laying down the groundwork for the movie’s premise: the acapella team we came to know and love in the last movie might be in over their heads. They take on an international acapella competition, facing off with different countries in a Step Up style showdown (and yet “why is the most talented one Australian?”).
In the video, we hear a nice acapella version of Carrie Underwood’s girl power anthem “Before He Cheats” as well as an appearance by a new guy’s acappella group named “The Green Bay Packers.”
Reba Wilson’s character quips “I could be the ham in that man’s sandwich” in reference to the Packer’s hunky musclebound front man (Clay Matthews).
Pitch Perfect 2 is slated to be released May 15th, 2015.
