Take a look at the Seattle Seahawks 2014-2015 roster that led them to Super Bowl XLIX.

Five Seattle Seahawks players were selected to the Pro Bowl over the 2014-2015 season, and between quarterback Russell Wilson and the Legion of Boom, the reigning Super Bowl champs’ roster runs deep.

Ever since the Seattle Seahawks drafted Wilson in 2012, the team has averaged a regular season record of 12-4. After toppling the Green Bay Packers in the biggest comeback in Championship history, they’re gearing up for their second Super Bowl in a row.

Players to watch

Marshawn Lynch

The lynchpin of the Seattle’s postseason success has been none other than No. 24. In the win against the Packers, Lynch carried 25 times for a franchise post-season record 157 yards. The biggest challenge for the RB might be refraining from grabbing his groin – the NFL warned that if he does so during the Super Bowl the Seahawks will be penalized 15 yards, in addition to Lynch getting fined another $20k.

Richard Sherman

Despite injuring his elbow in the NFC title game, cornerback Richard Sherman will be a major factor in Glendale, Arizona. If the Seahawks’ Legion of Boom can shut down the New England Patriots’ wide receivers and allow the defensive line to put the pressure on quarterback Tom Brady, Seattle stands a good chance at taking the crown two years in a row.

Russell Wilson

Wilson handily dismantled the relevance of QB ratings in the Championship game against the Packers, when the third-year QB had a rating of 0 at the end of the first half. Yet by some miracle, he rallied his team to surmount a 16-point deficit and upset Green Bay. This natural born leader cannot be ruled out.

Super Bowl XLIX takes place Sunday, Feb. 1 at 5:30 CT on NBC.
