New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks UNDER 47.5 points

The sharps are on the under and so am I. Frankly, this is the biggest no-brainer on the board for me, simply because of my philosophy (fade the public!) and prediction for the game.

Super Bowls are often interesting in that they include sloppy play on one side or the other. Both of these teams have recent track records of appearing in the big game, but that won’t prevent a “feeling out” period of some sort, and I trust both Seattle and New England defensively.

Both Russell Wilson and Tom Brady are capable of having quality games here, but I expect the Seahawks to depend on the running game to generate production (killing the clock is a bonus) and the Patriots will attempt to meander the ball down the field with short passing and a lot of LeGarrette Blount. Unders are almost always the right side in the long run, and that’s my play.
