Walter White lives! A new Super Bowl spot has the meth cook at odds with a pharmacy customer.
In a hilarious and semi-dark twist, Esurance seems to have abandoned their John Krasinski voiceover narration for something that will knock a little harder: Walter White.
In their new advertising campaign, “Sorta You Isn’t You,” Esurance aired a commercial in between plays at the Super Bowl which starred the Breaking Bad character and noted meth cook Walter White.

In the commercial, White — played by the always devastating Bryan Cryston — appears dressed in his iconic yellow hazmat suit and claims that he’s a “sorta pharmacist” to a customer who just wanted to pick up her prescription meds (and presumably a gram of the blue stuff) from her usual pharmacist Greg.
The kicker really comes towards the end when Heisenberg himself tells her to “say my name” to which she replies “sorta Greg.”
The commercial laid out Esurance’s goal of helping make sure you pay only what’s right for you and not someone “sorta” like you.
Esurance’s Chief Marketing Officer Alan Gellman expressed his excitement over the commercial saying, “Esurance is very excited to be in-game for the first time this year and share our new ad campaign with the millions of viewers who tuned in.”
