College Basketball rankings: Week 13 AP Poll released; Gonzaga new No. 2

The new college basketball AP Poll was released and the Gonzaga Bulldogs keep climbing

We have hit the month of February, which means that we are going to see the cream of the crop start to rise in college basketball. As we’ve seen throughout the season, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are a forced to be reckoned with as the month of March approaches.

What we also know about Gonzaga, after Monday, is that they’re the new No. 2 team in the country.

This past Saturday night Virginia was knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten by Duke, meaning that they would also be losing their spot right behind the No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats, which they ultimately did. With the loss, Gonzaga jumped right up into their place from the No. 3 spot.

Virginia, though, did not take that much of a hit, as all they really did was swap places with the Bulldogs, as they now sit at No. 3.

Via the Associated Press, here is a look at the complete AP Poll for Week 13.
