The headline writers in New York had a field day with Deflate-Gate and the Super Bowl. They wrapped it all up with another great headline.
The New York media had a good time with their headlines with the Super Bowl and with all the controversy of Deflate-Gate throughout the past 2 weeks. They had a number of great headlines to throw during the time. Headlines like “My balls are perfect” and “Balls#!t” were floating around with the New York Post and the New York Daily News.
NY Post & NYDN let me down with their Sheldon Silver headlines, but they made up for it today w/Brady ones: pic.twitter.com/FRQM5SMJrM

On game day, they posted the headline “Champs vs Cheats”
I guess they were a little biased. They had some great headlines and after the Super Bowl win by the New England Patriots, they had another great headline for everyone

Balls of Steal!
With the Patriots backed up in their own goal line with the Seattle Seahawks with the ball, the situation looked dire. The Seahawks have one of the best running backs in the game on their roster and it looked like they were just going to hand the ball off to him to take the victory.

Jermaine Kearse just made a circus catch to bring them down to the goal line and all the momentum was with the Seahawks. The Seahwaks just had to punch it in and they likely would walk away with the game with back-t0-back Super Bowl wins.
Instead, the Seahawks decided to go to the air for the score. Russel Wilson threw the pass which ended up in the arms of Patriots corner Malcolm Butler. Butler stole the ball to make the interception and made the play of the game.
With all the talk of the balls before the game, we put all that to the side to play a great Super Bowl. The Seahawks and the Patriots went back and forth throughout the game. The teams exchanged blows and the Patriots had the knockout punch.
The headline makers had a field day with all the talk leading up to the Super Bowl and capped it off with the Ball of Steal headline to wrap up the game. It is too bad that it all has to come to an end and we have to look forward to the NFL draft now. We can turn to baseball or the NBA, but we will all be sitting at the edge of our seats waiting for the NFL to come right back on the air.
