Russell Wilson gave his thoughts on the Super Bowl loss on his twitter.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is known for be a very positive guy and having a very positive attitude.

It’s very hard to have a positive attitude after you have the ball on the 1-yard line with a chance to win the Super Bowl, and instead throw an interception in the end zone to seal the victory for the New England Patriots.

A lot of criticism has surrounded the decision to throw instead of run, but it’s not Wilson making the play call, he just tries to execute the play as best he can.

Still, Russell Wilson seems to be keeping that positive attitude.

Russell Wilson does have a lot of reason to stay positive. Despite the interception at the end of the game, he played very well. He completed 12 of 21 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns with a 110.6 quarterback rating. He also added 39 rushing yards on 3 rushing attempts.

Also, like Wilson stated in his twitter post, he’s only 26 years old and he’s already been to two Super Bowls, winning one Super Bowl Championship. He’s proved a lot of people wrong who doubted him coming out of college, saying he wouldn’t be a good NFL quarterback and he won’t last.

While he’s been lucky to be on a team with one of the best defenses in NFL history and one of the best running backs in the NFL today, he’s had to come up big on a lot of different occasions, and more often than not, he’s been up for the task. He’s not going to be the Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees type off quarterback where he’s going to throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns every game, but he’s very smart at how he manages the game and makes hardly any mistakes.

Wilson is still young and he’ll continue to learn and get better. As long as the Seahawks keep a good supporting cast around him, we will most likely see Russell Wilson back in another Super Bowl sooner rather than later.
