New England Patriots superstar quarterback Tom Brady isn’t even thinking about retirement following his teams 28-24 Super Bowl 49 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots were able to come away with a 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49 and he ended up winning the MVP award for the game. Despite getting off to a slow start early on in 2014, he was able to get things back on track and play MVP caliber football down the stretch of the season and into the playoffs.
At 37 years of age, there is some concern that Brady’s career could be coming to an end over the next year or two. That being said, he made it clear that he isn’t focusing on retirement, and feels that he has some good football left to be played.

New England has been a dominant football team ever since Brady stepped on the field, but Brady’s dad is scared that things will end “ugly” with the Patriots when they decide it’s time to move on.

Even though the Patriots are a very business oriented team, they have also been known to handle things with class. As long as Brady as playing at a high level, they are not going to cause a lot of drama with the face of their franchise. Brady showed last night against Seattle that he can still win the biggest football games with his arm and he didn’t look much different from what he did in his last Super Bowl performance.
His age might be rising, but that isn’t causing his play on the field to diminish. The Patriots have continued putting the necessary talent around him to keep him successful and he has continued making them even better than they were before they came to New England.
That is the sign of a great quarterback and he is one of the best that the NFL has ever seen. It will be a sad day when the Patriots and Brady decide to move on from each other, but that day hasn’t come yet.
When everything is said and done, it is likely that Brady will have played for at least two or three more seasons with the Patriots. He has made it clear that he wants to play into his 40’s, but when he does hit 40 that could change. Brady furthered his legacy with the win over Seattle last night, and he would like to get one more before he hangs up his cleats.
