Did James Dolan fall asleep watching Knicks-Celtics? An investigation
By Ian Levy
The New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics are playing in what is supposed to be a professional basketball game tonight. However, things do not look very professional.
In fact, the game is so boring and painful that it appears James Dolan has fallen asleep in his courtside seat along the baseline.
Did James Dolan fall asleep watching Knicks-Celtics? It looks like he may have, but the appropriate course of action here is to do a thorough investigation in order to find out for sure. Let’s examine the facts.
1. That is indeed James Dolan
2. The Knicks and Celtics are indeed playing a “basketball game” at Madison Square Garden right now.
Now, let’s bring in some forensic evidence.
As you can see, that is James Dolan sitting at the Knicks-Celtics game. You will notice that his head is tilted downward in a classic sleeping position, and his line of vision leads directly to the floor below him. However, because we cannot see his eyes in this picture, it is still not definitive whether or not Mr. Dolan is asleep.
Let us now bring in an expert witness, Mr. Eric Buenning. Mr. Buenning is a “fan of naps” according to his Twitter dot com bio. And so we turn to him for his opinion on whether or not Mr. Dolan was having himself a little nap. Here is what he has to say:
While the forensic evidence indicates Mr. Dolan could be asleep, our expert’s testimony does not 100 percent confirm this to be the case. And so at this time we cannot, without further evidence, make a definitive call.
As such, the investigation will remain open. If you have any information that could be of assistance in this case, please contact us on Twitter dot com: @FriendlyBounce.
