1. Brooklyn Nets

There has been some talk about the Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets working a blockbuster trade, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see those talks pick up as the deadline continues to draw closer.

One potential trade would be for the Hornets to send Lance Stephenson, Gerald Henderson, and Marvin Williams to Brooklyn in exchange for Deron Williams and Cory Jefferson. It would be a blockbuster to say the least, but both teams would immediately improve with the deal.

Stephenson would be a perfect pickup for the Nets, and would be a start of a re-tooling process to get some younger blood into the lineup. He would also be more than happy with the trade, as it would send him back home. Adding both Williams and Henderson in the deal would give Brooklyn some nice depth as well.

Williams would immediately upgrade the Hornets, assuming he could stay healthy following the trade. He would be a much better scoring option than Stephenson, and he is also a more consistent playmaker with the basketball and a better teammate. It would help the Hornets this year and in the future.
