One of the league’s top free agents in Ndamukong Suh wants to go to be a Seahawk reportedly

Ndamukong Suh might be the best available free agent on the market once NFL Free Agency opens up. It appears he has his sights set on a destination too.

Suh, who has spent his entire career with the Detroit Lions, is reportedly interested in joining the defending NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks’ defense is on a different level than other defenses across the league, and the physicality they bring every week leaves everyone in awe of what is being built in the Pacific Northwest.

The team is already filled with a bunch of warriors on defense, led by the Legion of Boom, who all played through the Super Bowl with serious injuries, and set an example in leadership for the rest of the team.

That’s not all Seattle has on defense either, with guys like Bobby Wagner, Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett and Brandon Mebane in the front seven for the Seahawks.

Names like that alone are what front offices dream of.

Adding Suh? That would be game over for opposing offenses, who would have one of the league’s nastiest interior defensive lineman in the backfield all day.

Imagine Suh rushing up the middle as Bennett and Avril close in on the sides, while Wagner shuts down everything short, and the Legion of Boom has the receivers on lock.

It doesn’t sound too appetizing for the 31 other teams in the league. It will be interesting to see how Seattle will afford Suh when they have given out big contracts already to their secondary and still have to lock up Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, and Bobby Wagner.

If anyone can be creative enough to pull it off, it’s general manger John Schneider, who has built a team that can compete for the Super Bowl ever year.

Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole was the first to break the info on Suh.

“In talking to sources close to Ndamukong Suh, where he wants to play is he would love to be with the Seattle Seahawks,” Cole said about Suh, “This is his number one choice – because Suh is from the northwest area, grew up in Portland, he’d like to be there.”

He brings up an interesting point about Suh being from the Northwest area. Would Suh be willing to sacrifice some dollars to make it work in Seattle and be on a team that has a chance to compete for the Super Bowl?

If you’re a Seahawks fan, this is certainly news to get excited about. If you’re a fan of any of the other 31 teams, then you’re probably groaning and hoping it doesn’t end up true.
