Stormtroopers in Mavericks huddle (Video)
It’s Star Wars night in Dallas and the stormtroopers are out in full force
Just like other sports teams, the Dallas Mavericks had a Star Wars night as they took on the Los Angeles Clippers. Like many Star Wars nights, fans dressed up as their favorite characters and carried lightsabers as they cheered on their Mavericks.

While the visiting Clippers probably are playing the role of the Sith tonight, the stormtroopers are sticking with the hometown Jedi, the Mavericks.
Not only were Star Wars characters running amok in Dallas, they were also in the Mavericks huddle before the game and hopped up and down alongside the Mavs to get fired up for the game.
The Clippers have come into the game shorthanded after losing Blake Griffin for a while after he had surgery to remove a staph infection from his elbow, which comes at a terrible time for the Clippers as they begin their toughest stretch of the season.
The Clippers currently hold a double digit lead over the Mavericks, so it appears they will need to summon the force if they want to win.
Some three’s from Monta Ellis and Chandler Parsons might help as well if the Mavericks want to maintain position in a stacked Western Conference.
Use the force, Dirk, use the force.
