WrestleMania Rumors: Daniel Bryan forced his way into Triple Threat match with Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar

It looks like the WWE Universe has forced Daniel Bryan into another WrestleMania main event.

The 2015 Royal Rumble has come and went and much to the chagrin of fans, Roman Reigns won. That means Reigns would take on the WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar for his belts in the main event.

It is a match where Lesnar is expected to drop the belts so he can leave the WWE, potentially for another run at the UFC.

Fans are still behind always-the-underdog Daniel Bryan, and voiced their displeasure to Reigns winning the Rumble by booing loudly and trending #CancelWWENetwork on social media.

This is almost a repeat of 2014, when Batista came back to win the Royal Rumble and would go on to fight for the belt at WrestleMania despite it being an incredibly unpopular move. Bryan was able to work his way into the match and won the belts at WrestleMania 30.

It looks like the WWE is taking cues from 2014 and will be repeating their course of action in 2015 according to the latest rumors from SEScoops.

"According to Dave Meltzer, Vince McMahon recently changed his mind about the WrestleMania main event, with Daniel Bryan being added as the third person in 3-way match. The feeling after the Royal Rumble was that Vince McMahon would not want to do another triple threat match to headline their biggest show of the year, since they went that route last year. However, Vince McMahon heard the fan backlash to Roman Reigns loud and clear, held a meeting with top WWE officials and decided on Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan."

So another year and another triple threat WrestleMania with Daniel Bryan working his way in to a match he has no business being in theoretically. The WWE could’ve avoided all this non-sense by letting him win the Rumble.

Of course Bryan vs Brock Lesnar is a David vs Goliath story, one that would seem incredibly improbable ending in Bryan beating Lesnar straight up. Reigns being there allows Bryan to win by having someone else around to help him take down the “Beast Incarnate.”

But then there is this whole matter of WWE Fast Lane. At this pay-per-view, the lone event between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, Bryan is facing Reigns with a shot at the belt on the line. So if Reigns wins, how does Bryan still work his way in to the match?

Or does Bryan win and get a shot at Lesnar, than Reigns protests that he is owed a shot and given one anyways making it a triple threat match?

Either way, it will be interesting to see how the story lines play out over the next few months.
