NBA Rumors: Phoenix Suns front runners for Amar’e Stoudemire
By Jack Crosby
Could Amar’e Stoudemire be making a return to the place where his career all started?
With the chance still on the table that Amar’e Stoudemire could end up taking a buyout soon from the New York Knicks, there are a lot of contending teams lining up to pursue his services, should he choose to go the buyout route after the All-Star break. We’ve already heard about the Dallas Mavericks potentially being interested in bringing him in, but in the end, could Stoudemire just return to where it all started for his NBA career?
Well, it appears that’s a real possibility as well, now.
According to Jordan Schultz of the Huffington Post, should Stoudemire decide to walk away from the Knicks, the Phoenix Suns will be right there to try and scoop him up.
Stoudemire began his career with the Suns and spent eight years with the organization before moving on. With Alex Len injured and the Suns running that up-tempo style of offense, bringing Stoudemire in might not only prove to be a smart move, but a successful one as well.
