Marian Hossa scores one of the most beautiful goals ever (GIF)

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa scored a beautiful goal to give his team the overtime victory on Wednesday night.
In one big swoop with a nice shot afterwards, Marian Hossa gave the Chicago Blackhawks a point in the standings. Later on, the Vancouver Canucks would get a point of their own in overtime, but that goal wasn’t as pretty as this little beauty, seen below.

Every time your favorite NHL team plays the Blackhawks, you worry about Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane and even Duncan Keith. Then who is it that gets you out of nowhere? Smooth skating Marian Hossa, of course.
Look at those wheels. That acceleration is second to none and that shot is pure stealth. We’re pretty sure it put a hole in goaltender Eddie Lack’s heart. With less than a minute left, it put the game in the balance for Vancouver.
The Canucks struck back in overtime however to take the two points, but given that they’re in the same playoff race as Chicago, the team can’t be happy to have given a bitter conference foe a free point. With Hossa on the ice, rare is the opponent who has a choice in the matter.
