ESPN’s Mike Greenberg asked “Is the mid still selling?” on air Thursday; colleagues Michael Smith and Jemele Hill couldn’t contain their laughter.

ESPN’s Mike Greenberg isn’t exactly regarded as an edgy radio host; however, one wouldn’t know that if they only watched Thursday’s edition of Mike and Mike.

Alongside normal co-host Mike Golic and special co-hosts Jemele Hill and Michael Smith, Greenberg decided to ask “Is the mid still selling?” in the middle of a segment.

Watch Greenberg ask the hilarious question below:

This truly could not be funnier.

Perhaps the best part of this remarkable piece of footage are the reactions from Smith and Hill, who, unlike Greenberg, clearly understand what the question means.

If only we could have heard the off-air conversation and see Greenberg’s face when Smith and Hill ultimately told Greenberg what he just said.
