Taylor Swift’s Newest Music Video For ‘Style’ Is Amazing (Video)

Pop star Taylor Swift released the latest video for her single ‘Style’.

Taylor Swift can take a break. The pop star has achieved not only international acclaim but also a platinum album for 1989 and two tracks currently on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Realistically, if she decided to retire now, I don’t think anyone could give her any guff for it. Despite all this, she’s continuing the make waves though and when she’s not copyrighting phrases from her own album or buying up domain names about who taught her lewd sexual acts, she is hard at work in the studio making songs about her exes or she’s filming for the song about her exes.

The most recent of these — Style — was shared today, and shows fans a departure from the lighthearted happy-go-lucky style of her first two 1989 music videos. In the video, we see a moodier, darker Swift singing about the fleeting nature of relationships and romance.

The funniest thing about this video and song is the fact that she really hits you over the head with the fact that it is about her love affair with One Direction member Harry Styles. Swift has even joked to Rolling Stone, “We should have just called it ‘I’m Not Even Sorry.'” Understandably so, it’s a pretty shameless call back to the two’s relationship.

Aside from the title of the song, the video itself showcases a romance between Swift and another man. In it, you can see Swift wearing the airplane necklace Styles had given Swift when they were together. Though the two have broken up, the video showcases the couple being haunted by the memory of their relationship. At the end, they are reunited before the video cuts to black.

Released during New York Fashion Week was leaked hours before it debuted on Good Morning America. In response to the leak, Swift uploaded her own version to her Vevo account. Check it out on YouTube below.
