Louisville’s Montrezl Harrell lost his cool once again and this time he used the ball as a weapon, pretty much

While he is indeed one of the best players in the country, no one can deny that Louisville’s Montrezl Harrell has shown at times this season that he tends to take some things a bit too far when he’s frustrated. Earlier this season, he went so far as to punch a player on the court.

On Saturday as the Cardinals take on Miami at home, Harrell may have lost his cool again. While it wasn’t as bad as punching a player on the court, what Harrell did could have caused just as much damage.

Late in the first half, with Miami actually taking it to Louisville, Harrell went up for a rebound, although he probably wasn’t going to be able to hold on to it. Well as we know in the game of basketball, when this happens, you generally bounce the ball off one of the opposing players, to ensure that it will go out on them and your team will get to keep the ball.

Well, Harrell did bounce the ball off a Miami player to try to save possession…he bounced it right off his face.

Some thought that he would be hit with a Flagrant 1 on the play, however, after a review by the officials, he was slapped with a technical.
