Harden on the day would finish with 33 points to help lead Houston to victory.
It was also his 26th 30-point game of the season. That’s 44% of the 59 games Houston has played this season.
Not only has Harden scored 30 points 26 times, he also leads the league in 30-point games this season.

While winning the Western Conference will be no easy task, the Rockets have to be considered one of the favorites with the way Harden has been playing this season.
On the year, Harden is averaging 27.7 points per game 7.0 assists per game and 5.8 rebounds a game.
These numbers alone make Harden one of the top MVP candidates in the league. He’s a threat to score 3o points every night and also plays a big role defensively for the Rockets.
He faces competition in the MVP race with the likes of Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook and LeBron James having strong years. However, none of those names have had the amount of 30 point games that Harden has had this year.
His 26th 30-point game was Sunday. With 23 games left, Harden has a good shot of having even more high scoring performances.
