Welcome back to the Friendly Bounce Belt, our weekly power rankings of awesome moments in the NBA. Last week Bango, the Milwaukee Bucks’ mascot, took home the belt for his Yeezy Boosts. Let’s see who took home the title this week.
The Champion: LeBron James
This is the first win for LeBron, and how could he not claim the title this week. He had an amazing performance on Thursday in a big time win over the Golden State Warriors, but what was even more impressive was the meme he started. His selfie with a paragraph long caption that he posted on Instagram grabbed the attention of the whole world, and in no time at all, had become a meme. Timelines were inundated with the LeBron picture and “when you…” tweets. Then, of course, there were the photoshops. It was quite the night on Twitter dot com, and we owe it all to the man who kicked it off: your new Friendly Bounce champion, LeBron James.
