Carolina Panthers

Finally, the Carolina Panthers would be an excellent fit for Andre Johnson as well. Cam Newton was able to lead the Panthers to the playoffs last season against all odds, but he desperately needs some wide receiver help.

They allowed Newton’s top three targets to walk away in free agency last offseason, and they only brought in Kelvin Benjamin to help replace them. Benjamin was impressive in his rookie season, but the Panthers need to bring in another legitimate starter across from him. Johnson would be the number two target, but he could also help mentor Benjamin over the next couple seasons.

Johnson is the type of playmaking target and big body that Newton needs to take the next step once again next season.

Carolina has a very talented all-around roster, but their offense needs some work in order to make them a legitimate contender in the NFC. Acquiring Johnson would be the type of move that it would take to put them over the hump in the aerial attack.
