In the game between Newcastle United and Manchester United, it looks like Jonny Evans and Papiss Cissé spit on each other.
Premier League action is underway on Wednesday, and Manchester United and Newcastle United squared off against one another. It was a tense game between at least two players.
With Papiss Cissé lying on the ground, it looks like Manchester United defender Jonny Evans spits on him. In the slow motion replay, which was uploaded to Vine by a fan, you can quite visibly see the spit from Evans go down towards Cissé.
Then Cissé gets up to confront Evans and it looks like once he is inches away from Evans’ face he unloads a nasty spit of his own.
What is that saying about two wrongs don’t make a right?
Spitting in someone’s face is incredibly disrespectful, aside from disgusting as well. If you were wondering how a former soccer player feels about it, Alexi Lalas said it was the worst thing a player can do on the pitch.
Spitting at a player is the single worst thing you can do. I’d rather you punched me in the face (no, that’s not an offer.)
