San Francisco 49ers

Another intriguing team to keep an eye on this offseason is the San Francisco 49ers. They are beginning a new era of football with Jim Harbaugh no longer being the head coach. Jim Tomsula is entering his first season as an NFL head coach, and it will be interesting to see how the team responds to all the changes.

Colin Kaepernick and the offense need some help, and that will likely be the focal point of the offseason for the 49ers.

San Francisco has a lot of great things going for them this season, and they are a very attractive team in free agency. Despite all of the changes, they are going to get back on track in 2015 and be playoff contenders. They have the talent to make it happen, and the few holes that they have will be filled before the season gets going.

There aren’t many teams that have the type of talent that the 49ers have on both sides of the football. That being said, the retirements that are expected to be announced of Patrick Willis and Justin Smith would open up a couple more holes defensively. Filling those holes in free agency is what the 49ers will try to do, and it is an effective way to replace them.
