Andre Johnson’s brother shared which teams Andre would like to play for.

Andre Johnson has just been released by the Houston Texans after a long and successful tenure in Houston. He now will find himself in some unfamiliar territory as he will be looking to find a new roster to join. He will get his chance to join a team that is in the hunt for a championship. He can also look for a team that has a solid quarterback to get him the football.

After Matt Schaub started his downfall in Houston, Johnson has struggled to produce the numbers that we were used to seeing from him. Having a solid quarterback to throw him the football would be the key element that has been missing in the last few seasons. The Texans wanted to move to a new direction and allowed Johnson to walk.

According to Andre Johnson’s brother via ESPN, Andre would like to join 1 of 4 teams: The New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks or Green Bay Packers. He wants to join a team that will win now. He wants to join a team that has a quarterback that can get him the football. Joining any of those teams would give him a shot to become a champion this season.

Where will he choose to join?

The Indianapolis Colts have Andrew Luck that can share the ball around the field. The team has a number of receivers already, but have always been looking to add more weapons for Luck. The team added Hakeem Nicks last offseason, but he wasn’t able to produce. Reggie Wayne has also decided to hang the cleats up. There is space for Johnson on the field in Indy.

The Seattle Seahawks don’t throw the football often. If Johnson wants to catch footballs, then he will likely go in another direction. The team would use him as a starter immediately, but the style of play would be different.

The Green Bay Packers have a number of weapons on offense already with Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Davante Adams also is a solid young weapon on the roster. This wouldn’t seem to be the best fit for Johnson.

The New England Patriots are always looking for talent at receiver. They could use Johnson out wide and Tom Brady could make him a superstar all over again.

We will see how everything plays out. Which team would you choose?
