After his season came to an end, Portland Trailblazers guard Wes Matthews has suited up in uniform to watch the team from home
The Portland Trailblazers have quietly had one of the best seasons of any team in the Western Conference. When shooting guard Wes Matthews tore his left achilles tendon, the Blazers were dealt a big blow to their lineup.

While the Blazers did acquire Aaron Afflalo from the Nuggets at the trade deadline, the combination of Lillard and Matthews was one of the better guard combos in the NBA.
Despite the tough injury, Matthews is still going all out for his support of the Blazers.

While Matthews can’t move around with the giant cast on his leg and the lengthy recovery time, that didn’t stop him from displaying his team pride.
While the talk around the Western Conference has been about the Warriors, Grizzlies and Thunder, the Blazers are quietly sitting in the No. 3 seed.
Getting through the Western Conference without Matthews won’t be easy for Portland, but even from home, he’s supporting the team as if he is out there on the court.
