Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan nails a three-pointer (Video)

DeAndre Jordan does a lot of things well, but shooting isn’t one, until this most unique 3-point hit
You can count on two hands the number of three-point attempts that Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan had attempted in his entire seven-year NBA career, before tonight–seven.
Until tonight you didn’t need any fingers to count his number of makes from beyond the arc. And then, this happened:
As would be expected, the 3-point attempt was not exactly drawn up that way by Clippers head coach Doc Rivers. It came early in the first quarter as the shot clock was nearing its end, and the ball got away from Chris Paul, who was driving the lane.
Jordan, already at the top of the key was easily able to retrieve it, as nobody for the Dallas Mavericks approached him.
And then in obvious desperation, Jordan let go of his eighth three-point attempt for his NBA career. He likely thought like all the rest it would miss. But instead, it went in.
A blind squirrel can even find an acorn once in awhile. Jordan wouldn’t mind if that luck showed up more often for him in his shooting stroke, as he is a career .422 percent shooter from the free throw line.
With the three-point hit, he goes to 12.5 percent from 3.
