Josh Gasser made an incredible save to keep a ball from going out of bounds and keeping Wisconsin’s tournament championship hopes alive. After further review it looks like he was out of bounds.

Wisconsin and Michigan State faced off in the finals of the Big 10 Conference Tournament Sunday. In a game that saw Wisconsin win in overtime, it had its fair share of controversy toward the end of the game.

While Wisconsin pulled out the big victory in overtime, people are pointing toward plays that may have been incorrectly called in Wisconsin’s favor.

One of those plays came when Wisconsin guard Josh Gasser chased a ball out of bounds and saved it.

Gasser would flip the ball behind his head as he leaped into press row and crashed into people and monitors.

While Gasser gave an incredible effort to save the ball, it appears he might not have.

After further review of his hustle play, it appears that left foot was on the out of bounds line as he dove to save the ball.

The left foot does look like it’s right on the line and it’s a call that was probably close enough to miss.

Still, it’s a call in a big game that can’t be missed.

While it’s a tough loss for Michigan State, they will still be in March Madness once the brackets come out on the Selection Sunday show.
