Seahawks WR Kevin Norwood proposes to girlfriend after gymnastics meet

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Kevin Norwood surprised his gymnast girlfriend with a proposal following her final home meet.
The weekend has been kind to Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Kevin Norwood, who is now a happily engaged man.

On Friday night, Norwood made the decision to propose to his girlfriend, Alabama gymnast Kayla Williams, following Senior Night — the final home gymnastics meet of the season for Williams and the Crimson Tide.
Norwood and Williams met at the University of Alabama, where Norwood was a standout for Nick Saban’s team.
According to a report from AL.com, Norwood has had the plan in motion for quite some time. Norwood decided over the course of the last year, while he was away in the NFL mising his girlfriend, that he wanted to marry Williams.
"“Being in Seattle by myself and not knowing anyone and stuff like that, I just had more time to think to myself of what I really wanted in life, so that was pretty much the game-changer for me,” Norwood said. “I’ve known for awhile that I wanted to be with her and stay with her for the rest of my life.”"
Judging by the photos that Norwood and Williams shared on social media, it is safe to say they are quite the happy couple.
