NBA Playoffs 2015: Who will sneak in, who will just miss out?
By Evan Massey
Out – Boston Celtics
Brad Stevens has led his Boston Celtics to a very impressive season after they traded star point guard Rajon Rondo earlier in the year. They appeared to be headed for the NBA Draft lottery, but they are currently making a run down the stretch and are trying to push their way into the Eastern Conference playoffs.
They are the 10th seed in the conference right now, but are just one game behind the Indiana Pacers for the seventh seed.
That shows just how close the Eastern Conference is and the Celtics certainly aren’t out of the running.
Unfortunately, they simply don’t have the talent to continue winning games like they have been throughout the remainder of the season.
Boston should be very proud with their play of late, but they won’t end up going to the playoffs. Stevens and the Celtics have a very bright future, but this just won’t be their year.
Obviously they could prove this statement wrong, but other teams in the race simply have more talent and are better all-around teams.
